Overview

The ISA Open Water SUP Course focuses on teaching SUP in an Open Water environment. The course covers SUP Racing, Technical, and Downwind Paddling successfully. The ISA Flat Water SUP Certification is a prerequisite for this course.

  • Students must have completed SE/ISA Flat water SUP award first. If not, RPL options available 
  • Allows the student to coach in exposed waters, downwind and racing conditions for a distance of 5km
  • The award will enable you to lead fun, safe and enjoyable trips for groups of paddleboarders, with a range of experience.

Duration

This is a 6-hour coaching course, including a practical skills assessment.

Accredit after a min of 10 hours of work experience, recorded in your workbook, with a designated SUP school.
